The Wayuu Mochila bags are made
by the Wayuu, a group of indigenous people who live in northern Colombia and north west Venezuela. Each mochila is
hand-made by one woman and each woman has her own signature. In other words - each of them is unique. Besides, each bag
signifies something to its creator, for example: “rays of the sun”,
“wind”, “path of love”, “coming of age” etc.
And thanks to Colombian Artesanies - Mochilas Wayuu I finally have my Wayuu Mochila. Knowing all the history how it was made makes it so amazing and cozy to use.
